About this event

What photo or object do you hold dear?
Maybe it’s a favorite image of someone you’ve lost.
Or an item that was passed down from a distant relative.
Inspired by the idea of elementary school “Show & Tell” day, each participant is invited to bring an object of their choice to our virtual event and share the story behind it. No need to rehearse or prepare, just tell the story that comes to your heart when you see this object. Maybe it’s a specific memory, or just the story of that person. This is an opportunity to honor and memorialize those we miss and hear stories from others as well.
Participation isn’t required but it is encouraged! If you prefer, you are welcome to just sit and listen to the stories of others.
What to Bring
Please bring an object or image to show that holds a story or memory related to someone that you loved and lost

Your Instructor
Martie McNabb is the creator of Show & Tale. She is a personal historian/visual artist who creates visual narratives from client’s photo, document & memorabilia archives. She’s also an interactive story-sharing heartist who helps people create connections by holding space for them to share the stories of the things they keep.
