Sunday, May 12, 2019 | 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Thank you to everyone who attended this annual event!

Many families visit Lakewood on Mother's Day to remember and celebrate the amazing women who have influenced our lives, including our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, daughters and friends, now laid to rest at Lakewood.

A symbol of love and strength

Pink carnations are the official flower of Mother’s Day, and a symbol of the purity,

strength and endurance of a mother’s love. We invite you to stop by our welcome tent (near the main gates) for a complimentary pink carnation on Mother's Day. Flowers will be available from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. (while supplies last).

Help us start a new tradition

Be among the first to add a ribbon to our new Living Memory Tree, a collective display of remembrance and love.

See the chapel while here

Also on this special day, the Lakewood Memorial Chapel will be open for viewing with self-guided tour brochures available inside.

Help locating graves

The main office at Lakewood is closed on Sundays. If you need help locating a grave, you have a couple of options:

  • Use the self-service kiosk, located on the east side of the Administration Building (this is the main building with the columns when you first enter the front gates)

  • Download Lakewood’s mobile app for help
