Thank you to everyone who attended this event!

Don't miss your chance to see singer-songwriter Molly Maher perform in the intimate Lakewood Chapel!

Molly Maher is the sort of musician you see once and never forget. Drawing from the roots of Americana music, her singing is a fine balance of deep and soulful, somewhere between Lucinda Williams and Bonnie Raitt. It's twangy and lament-filled country-folk with a blues swagger, and she'll be backed by some of her Disbelievers: Erik Koskinen (guitar, vocals), Paul Bergen (guitar,) Steve Murray (bass), accomplished musicians in their own right.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Doors open early at 2 p.m. so you can take a self-guided tour of the Lakewood Memorial Chapel before the show (free tour brochures will be available).

The Lakewood Chapel — one of our city’s most beloved architectural treasures — is an intimate setting that seats about 160 people.Because of its incredible beauty and historical significance, it is a popular place for weddings, end-of-life services, music concerts, tours and other celebrations of beauty, art and remembrance.

About the Lakewood Chapel

Dedicated in 1910, the Lakewood Memorial Chapel was modeled after the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul by prominent Minneapolis architect Harry Wild Jones. Its 10-million piece mosaic interior, created by New York designer Charles Lamb, features a 40-foot high dome ringed with stained glass windows and 12 mosaic angels. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Chapel is one of the finest examples of Byzantine mosaic architecture in the country.
