Thank you to everyone who attended this event!
Lakewood’s “Music in the Chapel” concerts showcase a variety of artists in one of our city’s most beloved architectural treasures — the Lakewood Memorial Chapel.

On Sunday, October 7, hear the amazing voices of SeVy (pronounced say-v), a local gospel family quartet whose leader "Ms. Robin" Doublette and her three daughters, Lynnea, Ivory and Danielle, have been performing together for more than 20 years. The group's name, SeVy, is Yves spelled backward, a tribute to husband/father Yves Doublette. Hear more of their story on MPR.
The concert begins at 3 p.m. Doors open at 2 p.m. Self-guided tour brochures of Lakewood’s Memorial Chapel will be available.
About the Chapel
Dedicated in 1910, the Lakewood Memorial Chapel was modeled after the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul by prominent Minneapolis architect Harry Wild Jones. Its 10-million piece mosaic interior, created by New York designer Charles Lamb, features a 40-foot high dome ringed with stained glass windows and 12 mosaic angels. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Chapel is one of the finest examples of Byzantine mosaic architecture in the country.
